Rather than opening up a new account at your current bank, revise your Signature Card. It may turn out to be simpler. Either way, if your bank does not like the Demand and they request you "change it back" just do what they want. If you have your Demand on the Signature Card (Copy) then you are ready. All the law requires is that you make your demand. The intention to redeem lawful money is expressed.
